- All users should be thirteen years old or older. Mainly just because it’s a proboards rule and we should attempt to go along with it, but also because there’s sure to be some things that may not be suitable for people under thirteen.
- Be respectful to all members at all times. This means, don't write hate letters or threats in PMs. Don't annoy someone with PMs. If they tell you to stop, stop. Consequently if somebody bothers you with PM's and you've asked them to stop, please report the abuse to an admin. However, arguing and disrespect is usually encouraged while in character. It makes the plots so much more interesting.
- You can have as many characters as you desire, so long as they're ACTIVE. Please have an account per character so we don’t get confused. If you are unable to keep your characters active, we will delete your inactive accounts unless you’ve posted in the absence board. Your face claim will be reopened and if someone else claims it before you realize it was opened, then you’re pretty much screwed.
- Profanity is allowed and is encouraged, simply because it’s always so much more dramatic when there’s people throwing f-bombs all over the place. Sex, rape, drugs, whatever. But make sure you put some sort of warning in the title of a thread to warn of mature content if it’s involving sexual activity. If you don’t we’ll add it for you, but please remember that Rama doesn't have all this extra time to be keeping tabs on your threads.
- No one is perfect in real life, so neither are your characters. No one in real life never makes a mistake, or never gets their feelings hurt, and so on and so forth. Attempt to keep yourself and your character’s lives separate. Sing It Loud is a role play, not a way for you to share with the world what you do on a daily basis. It is okay to base personalities and pasts on your own, but try not to get confused over which life you actually lead, for this causes out of character drama that no one wants to deal with.
- This RPG is open to all levels of players. If a person who's never role played before posts a short post, don't complain, just work with it the best you can. But for the sake of all of us, we ask that you at least attempt at longer posts. No one liners.
- As for signatures, please provide one of your character. It tends to make discriptions of other people in posts and what not so much simpler to write. When using them, please don't stretch the page or we will have to ask you to resize them.
- As on most role playing sites, no God modding. It will not be tolerated. You are not a mind reader, and could in no way be able to predict the actions, thoughts, or the words that are coming out of someone else's mouth. If you couldn't do it in the real world, don't do it here.
- If you want to kill off a character, make one fall pregnant, or become severely ill (or anything else along those lines), please contact an admin before making this change take effect. This way we can keep track of our characters and update face claims if needed. There also will be no coming back from the dead and all that other stuff. Let's use common sense, please.
- Once you are finished with a thread please contact a staff member so we can move the finished thread to an appropriate area so we wont have a ton of inactive threads sitting around collecting dust and getting in everyone's way. If you haven't posted on a thread in two weeks, it will be moved. If it's moved, you're once again screwed. My advice? Start a new thread continuing your plot.
Constant breaking of these rules will result in a warning, a suspension, and eventually your character will be deleted and you will be banned. We don't like banning people, but don't test the all powerful admins. We will hold your feet to the fire if necessary.
