x Kassidy & Damien "Damien! What are... oooh you just... Hey! Nooo! Oh, come on..." Kassidy yelled as she got up from her position on the playgrounds sand to chase after the one and a half year old boy who seemed to think his little legs would be able to run fast enough to get away from his mom. She had gasped as he dumped a bucketload of sand right into her hair while she was bending over. Silly boy, thought he was so smart, so funny, so daring to dump sand into Kass's hair. Well, she would most definitely show him who's boss.
Kassidy trotted over to where her son managed to escape to, his giggling rising over the sound of the tree's moving softly in a calm breeze. She grinned and picked the boy up, who screamed as if he wasn't expecting her to be right there. Kass swung him around in the air, saying, "You bad boy, don't dump things in my hair. Oh, you're gonna get it now, yes you are, you silly bad boy," all in between giggles and huge smiles.
Kassidy really couldn't care if she looked like a slobbish, skanky seventeen year old with her hair full of sand and her own child to look after. She loved Damien, even if he was a bit of an annoyance at times.
The blonde girl set her equally blonde boy back down on the ground, looking at his face, which was covered in sand. "You are a royal mess, my boy." She said to him, in which he replied with a giggle. "Lets go get you cleaned up." She said, taking his hand and walking back to their sand toys to pick them up.

Cassidy's day so far basically sucked. She hadn't talked to any of her friends in... Maybe two days. She'd been avoiding the world, stuck in her own moodiness over nothing. No one had wronged her and her life had been good recently, but Cassie sometimes felt the need to just sit and whine and cry about absolutely nothing. It helped her stay sane. Or so she thought. She continued to drive through Adeline, her mind overcast with boredom as she drove past the park. She hadn't been to West Ridge in awhile, and she used to love hanging out by the swings with friends there. But lately for some reason no one really wanted to hang with her. Oh well. She'd make her own fun.
Cassie hit the brakes, nearly sending the person behind her directly into Cassie's car. Cassidy stuck her middle finger out the window, clearly blaming the middle aged woman driving the mini-van behind her for the near wreck. It was a completely believable accusation. All people who drove mini-vans were a little off in the head. Or at least in past experiences, that had been Cassidy's findings. She pulled into the parking lot and parked her Volvo, and pushed her oversized sunglasses atop her head. With her blonde hair pulled into a messy bun, and wearing a simple white tank-top and Daisy Dukes, she looked young and innocent. She loved to deceive people like that.
She strode through the park, her flip-flops whacking the backs of her feet with each step. Cassidy stopped when she saw Kassidy and Damien. Cassie had always found it amusing that she was friends with someone who had the same name. Cassidy had always gone by Cassie though, and the other Kassidy had gone by Kass. So normally the could tell which one of them was being spoken to. "Hey!" Cassidy called out and waved.

x Kassidy & Damien "Cassie!" Kassidy yelled as she saw and heard the familiar voice of Cassidy Weston. Too impatient to walk at Damien's speed, the girl scooped her child back up into her arms and quickly walked, as quickly as her short little legs would let her, over to Cassie. "What brings you to the park today?" She asked once she was closer.
Damien found it hilarious that Cassidy and Kassidy shared the same name, although they looked different when written. Kass thought it was interesting, but she just thought that two people with the same name aught to get along - after all, they do share a part of themselves with eachother.
Kass looked at Damien's sand covered face and used her hand to try to brush his face a bit more clean. It didn't help much. She shrugged and set the boy down in the grass, which he immediately began pulling. "Don't do that Dame." She said, though her command was very half-hearted and she didn't do anything to stop him when he continued right along with pulling the grass out.
Kassidy wiped her slightly dirty hands on her black skinny-jeans and straightened the pink bow in her hair. Playing with Damien sure made her a mess.
