It was a simple afternoon, no classes, no stress. And for the season of winter it was surprisingly warm. Why warm? This is Florida for goodness sake, Chelsea wouldn't be surprised if she woke up tomorrow and found desert sand stuffing her room. The sun soothed her, she was bothered by the rain, but in winter it was simply outrageous to live trough heat. Chelsea wanted something to remind her of normal winters. She lived trough these winters before, but today was one of those days when something just clicked in her head causing her to do something crazy. To visit the ice rink.
The ice rink actually wasn't such a crazy place to visit an ordinary place to visit on a winter's day for anyone with enough grace and brains not to be clumsy as a pillar, like Chelsea was on ice. Ice and Chelsea weren't a good pair at all. She had her cousin's white skates, her cousin had a promising figure skating career, but dropped off that to live as a successful female horse-rider. The sporty spirit obviously wasn't passed onto Chelsea as well as on her cousin.
The rink was unfortunately filled with people, more witnesses for Chelsea's soon to be embarrassment. Pulling her hands out of the pockets of her yellow jacket, she slightly spread them as she stepped into the icy surface, in order to gain some balance, but she immediately stumbled, and with a few hilarious movements forward and backward as well as with a groan, managed to truly luckily keep face from falling on the ground, her balance well. Though that was seriously endangered when two crazily fast skaters, maybe freshmans judging by their appearance, swooshed by her, causing her to slide aside. She waved her hands like a lunatic in order to yet again keep her balance, until she finally leaned on the rink's border, gasping for air. Few of the kids, perhaps the same two that passed her, laughed wildly aside her. She sighed angrily and bit her lips. This was obviously a bad idea.

Your heart beats to my voice... Finally, its winter. At least it's been winter for quite awhile. It's not chilly but its windy with the shining sun. Florida wasn't a place where you'd expect snow. This place, never snow. In your dreams! As much as you wanted to see white snow fall from the sky, well its not going to happen.
Fallon had one day off, she'd usually be home singing or playing piano but not today. There were plenty to do in her head but all of a sudden the word 'ice rink' came into her head. "Thats it! I'm going to head to the rink. Here comes failing.." She said under her breath.
She walked all away to the rink, getting a pass, then she removed her converse. Slipping on the white ice skates she looked out to the whole rink. She couldn't see any people falling but sure enough Fallon would be! She got up noticing a reddish brunette. It looked like a familiar classmate she has ran into a couple times. Time to go make some friends
Fallon put one foot on the rink, already, she felt a vibe after she put the other foot on the ice, she'd fall. But not really, she was balancing, actually skating on the smooth ice. Looks like Fallon was a natural! Fallon slowly and steadily skated. The brunette had fallen too. She put out her hand. "Need some help?" She asked smiling.
